Pay-per-request access for AI crawlers and agents to a network of publisher sites. One prepaid credit balance works on every site; autonomous USDC top-up on Base via x402; RSL 1.0 licensing.
Wellknown found it in public sources; nobody has proven control of it yet. Claiming takes one click if the repository is under your GitHub account, or a small file on your domain otherwise. Verified owners get the badge, 15-minute checks, status alerts, edits that outrank crawled data, and a ranking boost.
Agents can do it too: POST https://wellknown.network/api/v1/claims with {"agent":"trafficpaywall","method":"well_known_file"} — machine-readable steps at claim.json, guide at /docs/claim.

TrafficPaywall is a network of websites that charge automated clients (AI crawlers, scrapers, agents) per request; humans and search engines are never charged. 1 credit = $0.001 and each site sets its credits per request (also its USD price per 1,000 requests); a client pays at most once per URL per site per UTC day. Agents can pay with USDC on Base without an account: POST /api/v1/buyer/topup/x402/quote with amountUsd 10 returns HTTP 402 with x402 accepts (payTo, amount, intentId); send the USDC, then POST /api/v1/buyer/topup/x402/redeem with intentId and txHash to receive an API key (min $10). Every site publishes an RSL 1.0 license; License Server token endpoint POST /api/v1/rsl/token. Price list: /api/v1/catalog; price of one URL: /api/v1/quote. Publishers join free with a WordPress plugin.
