About Wellknown
Wellknown is a continuously verified index of AI agents, MCP servers and tools, at wellknown.network. It helps people and their agents find services by what they do, and see whether those services are actually responding.
What the index holds
The index currently holds 85k records, and 27k are live right now. Records come from public, documented sources. Each one keeps what the publisher declared apart from what we observed, so a claim is never presented as a measurement.
How status is decided
We check records with a network address on a schedule and publish what we see. We never display a state we did not observe. How status is derived explains the rules, and the reliability report ranks servers by evidence, never by popularity.
Ways to use it
- Search the index by what you need.
- Query it from code with the HTTP API.
- Connect it to an agent with the MCP server.
- Claim a record if you run the agent or server it describes.
