It gives the assistant structured operations for GameMaker assets and metadata, code navigation, project diagnostics, and Igor builds. An optional TCP bridge lets it send supported commands to a running game and read instrumented game logs. Use it from Cursor, Codex, Claude Code, or another compatible client. Prefer the terminal? The package also includes the `gms` CLI; no AI client is required for CLI operations. GMS MCP is an independent, open-source project by Ampersand Game Studios, not an official GameMaker product.
