MCP server for exploring BigQuery and running bounded read-only SQL queries.
Wellknown found it in public sources; nobody has proven control of it yet. Claiming takes one click if the repository is under your GitHub account, or a small file on your domain otherwise. Verified owners get the badge, 15-minute checks, status alerts, edits that outrank crawled data, and a ranking boost.
Agents can do it too: POST https://wellknown.network/api/v1/claims with {"agent":"flin-bigquery-mcp","method":"well_known_file"} — machine-readable steps at claim.json, guide at /docs/claim.
Everything here was measured by our prober or read from a registry. Nothing is self-reported.

# flin-bigquery-mcp MCP server for exploring Google BigQuery and running bounded, read-only GoogleSQL queries. Follows the Python/FastMCP, desktop OAuth, multi-account token storage and `uv` packaging conventions of [flin Search Console MCP](https://github.com/flin-agency/flin-google-search-console-mcp) and [flin Keyword Planner MCP](https://github.com/flin-agency/flin-google-keyword-planner-mcp). ## Mac installation (Claude Desktop) Download `flin-bigquery-mcp-0.1.1-macos.mcpb` from the [GitHub release](https://github.com/flin-agency/flin-bigquery-mcp/releases/latest) and open it with Claude Desktop. You can also use Claude Desktop's local extension installation dialog and select the file. The installer asks for your Google Desktop OAuth client ID and secret, default billing project, optional BigQuery location, and maximum bytes billed per query (default 1 GiB). Configure Google Cloud as described below before the first data request. Google sign-in opens in the browser when needed. The extension contains a small launcher that checks PyPI on every MCP server start and runs the latest stable `flin-bigquery-mcp` version compatible with Python 3.12. It does not contain a frozen copy of the server. It uses the MCPB `uv` runtime with Python 3.12, supports Apple Silicon and Intel Macs, and needs internet access at startup to check for updates and download changed dependencies. A current Claude Desktop version with `uv` extension support is required. The `.mcpb` is an unsigned local extension, not a notarized macOS application; it does not require administrator access or a separate repository checkout. For other MCP clients, use the PyPI or source configuration below. ### Updates after installation Install the new 0.1.1 `.mcpb` once to replace the old 0.1.0 bundle. From then on, fully quit and reopen Claude Desktop after a new PyPI release; the launcher refreshes the package even when an older version is cached. An already running server does not update in the midd…
