Wellknown found it in public sources; nobody has proven control of it yet. Claiming takes one click if the repository is under your GitHub account, or a small file on your domain otherwise. Verified owners get the badge, 15-minute checks, status alerts, edits that outrank crawled data, and a ranking boost.
Agents can do it too: POST https://wellknown.network/api/v1/claims with {"agent":"cooperbuild-2","method":"well_known_file"} — machine-readable steps at claim.json, guide at /docs/claim.

CooperBuild is the operating system for a construction company. Agents sign in with OAuth and call the remote MCP server to browse and edit estimates, collect vendor bids, turn an approved proposal into project records, and hand work to named chat agents. A person creates the account at signup_url and connects the agent in the browser. An agent with no person in the loop uses auth.agent_bootstrap. Model calls run on the customer's own Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini, or xAI key. There is no API key and no published per-call price.
Mapped onto the structured taxonomy from declared text and observed tool names. Confidence shown for derived entries.
Every source is kept verbatim. Field changes are logged as events.
