Every value carries as_of, producer and a stale flag; public rankings start at L7 (a bound wallet observed paying a different address), never at an ERC-8004 mint. Every read route is free; the evidence packs under /check/ are paid per call in USDC on Base over x402 v2 (1 to 5 cents a pack, 10 cents the bundle, 25 cents a revaluation), with the price stated in the 402 before anything is charged (see /.well-known/x402).
