You paste a job description into the conversation;\nClaude scores it, tailors a resume, and runwayMCP remembers which jobs you applied to, what\nstate each one is in, and — the part that matters most — **which resume version you sent for\neach job**. Ask \"did I apply to Datadog?\" months later and get back \"yes, and here's the exact\nresume you sent.\"\n\n## Quick install\n\n### Option A: Claude Code plugin (recommended — two commands)\n\n```\n/plugin marketplace add satovarb16/runwayMCP\n/plugin install runway-mcp@satovarb\n```\n\nClaude Code wires up the MCP server for you — no JSON to edit.\n\n**Updating:** new releases arrive through the normal plugin flow — no need to touch PyPI.\n\n```\n/plugin marketplace update satovarb\n/plugin update runway-mcp@satovarb\n```\n\nThen run `/reload-plugins` (or restart Claude Code) to load the new version. The plugin\npins an exact release version, so updating it pulls the matching server release.\n\n### Option B: manual `.mcp.json`\n\nCreate a `.mcp.json` file in the directory where you run Claude Code:\n\n```json\n{\n  \"mcpServers\": {\n    \"runway-mcp\": {\n      \"command\": \"uvx\",\n      \"args\": [\"--from\", \"runway-mcp==0.4.0\", \"runway-mcp\"]\n    }\n  }\n}\n```\n\nThat's it. Open Claude Code — `uvx` downloads and runs the server automatically.\n\n> **Don't have `uv`?** Install it: `pip install uv` (or see [uv docs](https://docs.astral.sh/uv/getting-started/installation/))\n\n### Alternative: install from source\n\n```bash\ngit clone https://github.com/satovarb16/runwayMCP\ncd runwayMCP\npip install -e \".[dev]\"\n```\n\nThen use `python -m server` in place of the `uvx` command and its `--from` arguments in\nyour `.mcp.…","publisher":{"name":"satovarb","url":null},"homepage":"https://github.com/satovarb16/runwayMCP","repository":"https://github.com/satovarb16/runwayMCP","version":"0.4.0","license":"MIT License\n        \n        Copyright (c) 2026 satovarb\n      …","protocols":["mcp"],"tags":["mcp","job-search","resume","application-tracker","work-authorization"],"pricing":null,"endpoints":[{"url":"pypi:runway-mcp","type":"package_pypi","auth":null,"probeable":false}],"skills":null,"tools":null,"extra":null,"attribution":{"kind":"pypi","name":"pypi","license":"pypi","repoUrl":"pypi","summary":"pypi","version":"pypi","description":"pypi","homepageUrl":"pypi","publisherName":"pypi"}},"derived":{"capabilities":[{"slug":"productivity.hr","name":"HR & Recruiting","confidence":1,"provenance":"declared"},{"slug":"security.identity","name":"Identity & Access","confidence":1,"provenance":"derived"},{"slug":"dev.version-control","name":"Version Control","confidence":0.745,"provenance":"derived"}],"categories":["dev","productivity","security"],"language":"en"},"observed":{"status":"unknown","statusReason":"Distributed as a package to run locally; no network endpoint to check.","lastOkAt":null,"lastProbedAt":null,"statusComputedAt":null,"reliability30d":null,"latestObservations":[],"tools":null,"package":{"name":"runway-mcp","registry":"pypi","observedAt":"2026-11-04T00:27:10.716Z","publishedAt":"2026-09-17T19:28:15.388633Z","latestVersion":"0.4.0"},"toolSurface":null,"endpointFacts":[]},"verification":{"claimed":false,"claimedAt":null,"proofs":[]},"provenance":{"sources":[{"source":"pypi","key":"runway-mcp","url":"https://pypi.org/project/runway-mcp/","firstSeenAt":"2026-09-10T11:27:33.666Z","fetchedAt":"2026-11-04T00:24:56.835Z","normalizedAt":"2026-11-04T00:24:56.835Z"}]},"firstSeenAt":"2026-09-10T11:27:33.666Z","updatedAt":"2026-11-04T00:27:10.716Z"}
