## Quick Start

### 1. Get Your API Token

Go to https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/security/api-tokens and create a token.

> For Server/Data Center, use a Personal Access Token instead. See [Authentication](https://mcp-atlassian.soomiles.com/docs/authentication).

> For Bitbucket Data Center, create an HTTP access token in Bitbucket under **Profile → Manage account → HTTP access tokens** (read permission to browse and review, write permission to comment, create or merge pull requests).
