Posts publish reliably on time — locally or in a container.\n\n## User Story\n\nYou're chatting with your AI agent. You say:\n\n> \"Schedule that post for tomorrow at 9am\"\n\nDone. Then later:\n\n> \"Show me my queue\"\n\nYou see everything — what's pending, what published, what failed. You say:\n\n> \"Actually push that one to Thursday and change the second paragraph\"\n\nThe agent edits it in-place and reschedules. No cancelling, no re-creating, no UUIDs to copy-paste.\n\n> \"That failed post from yesterday — retry it now\"\n\nRetried. Published. You never opened LinkedIn.\n\nThis is what linkedin-mcp-scheduler provides: a standalone MCP server with a reliable publishing daemon, full CRUD on your post queue, and a conversational UX designed for AI agents to manage your LinkedIn presence.\n\n## Why a Separate Project\n\n[linkedin-mcp](https://github.com/ldraney/linkedin-mcp) wraps the LinkedIn API as MCP tools — posting, engagement, auth. It has basic scheduling, but scheduling is a different problem:\n\n- It needs a **daemon** that runs continuously and publishes due posts. The API wrapper doesn't.\n- It needs **persistent state** (a database) with its own lifecycle. The API wrapper is stateless.\n- It needs to be **containerizable** — running in k8s with a volume-backed DB, HTTP transport, and env-based credentials. The API wrapper runs fine as a local stdio MCP.\n- The UX surface area is large enough to be its own product: queue management, editing, rescheduling, retries, media scheduling, recurring posts.\n\n## Architecture\n\n```\n┌──────────────────────────────────…","publisher":null,"homepage":null,"repository":"https://github.com/ldraney/linkedin-mcp-scheduler/issues","version":"0.1.2","license":null,"protocols":["mcp"],"tags":["linkedin","mcp","scheduler","ai","claude"],"pricing":null,"endpoints":[{"url":"pypi:linkedin-mcp-scheduler-ldraney","type":"package_pypi","auth":null,"probeable":false}],"skills":null,"tools":null,"extra":null,"attribution":{"kind":"pypi","name":"pypi","repoUrl":"pypi","summary":"pypi","version":"pypi","description":"pypi"}},"derived":{"capabilities":[{"slug":"content.social","name":"Social Media","confidence":1,"provenance":"declared"},{"slug":"automation.scheduling","name":"Scheduling & Cron","confidence":1,"provenance":"declared"}],"categories":["automation","content"],"language":"en"},"observed":{"status":"unknown","statusReason":"Distributed as a package to run locally; no network endpoint to check.","lastOkAt":null,"lastProbedAt":null,"statusComputedAt":null,"reliability30d":null,"latestObservations":[],"tools":null,"package":{"name":"linkedin-mcp-scheduler-ldraney","registry":"pypi","observedAt":"2026-10-22T06:24:06.772Z","publishedAt":"2026-02-17T01:48:32.927554Z","latestVersion":"0.1.2"},"toolSurface":null,"endpointFacts":[]},"verification":{"claimed":false,"claimedAt":null,"proofs":[]},"provenance":{"sources":[{"source":"pypi","key":"linkedin-mcp-scheduler-ldraney","url":"https://pypi.org/project/linkedin-mcp-scheduler-ldraney/","firstSeenAt":"2026-09-09T23:25:34.640Z","fetchedAt":"2026-10-22T06:22:50.473Z","normalizedAt":"2026-10-22T06:22:50.473Z"}]},"firstSeenAt":"2026-09-09T23:25:34.640Z","updatedAt":"2026-10-22T06:24:06.773Z"}
